Miranda and Ryan said “I do” at their Hawks Cay wedding, and I was happy to be their Florida Keys wedding photographer. Miranda wore her beaded, fitted gown, and Ryan shone in his blue suit. Hawks Cay Resort is located in the Florida Keys. It is on Duck Key, which can be reached by car on the scenic Overseas Highway, by ferry from the mainland, or by plane through Key West International Airport.
Venues Available
A Hawks Cay wedding can feel very different depending on which venue you choose, and trust me when I say this resort has it all. Get married in a beautiful indoor venue like Dolphin Ballroom, which hosts up to 300 guests, or the Overseas Ballroom, hosting up to 350. Or, enjoy more of the outdoor beauty with a ceremony at the Landings, which hosts 60 guests on two terraces.
Miranda and Ryan opted for Oasis Cay, which hosts up to 250 on a tropical lawn in the open air. Swaying palm trees made this really feel like a dream destination wedding. But if you’re really adventurous, Hawks Cay can host weddings at the beachside, like at Sunset Beach, or even on the water with an experiential cruise or paddleboard ceremony.
Amenities Offered at Hawks Cay
When you decide to have a Hawks Cay wedding, amenities offered with each package include the following. Tables and chairs, white table linens and napkins, and a dance floor. As well as appropriate set up and waitstaff.
Reception dinners can be either plated or buffet-style, and trust me when I say there are tons of amazing options. Further add-ons include lighting, premium open bars, wine service with dinner, and display tables for the reception.
