You know how important it is to make the wedding day perfect for every couple. And my work as a Florida Keys wedding photographer gives me the best opportunities to look at the naturally beautiful locations! Tiffany and Rustin’s choice of Florida Keys wedding decor on the beach made the perfect backdrop for their wedding.

Keep scrolling to see more of this intimate ceremony at the Keys.

Locations for a Florida Keys Wedding

It’s true there’s no shortage of luxurious resorts and hotels in the Florida Keys, but did you know there are also tons of private beaches and docks for your wedding? And a waterfront venue can include everything from palm trees and greenery to a classic boardwalk. Tiffany and Rustin picked this location which was covered with elegant white sand for their ceremony! It was so perfect for them.

Natural Florida Keys Wedding Decor

If you choose a Florida Keys wedding, consider using more natural beach decor! I am obsessed with Tiffany and Rustin’s setup, especially their iconic driftwood arch. These raw wood pieces are warm and bleached to match the sand, and they added even more to it with these flowers that match Tiffany’s bouquet. It makes a powerful centerpiece.

Lounge Seating for Wedding Decor

Another thing I loved about this Florida Keys wedding decor was their choice of lounge seating during the ceremony. It was the exact dusky rose color to match the flowers and the location. Having lounge seating, like this sofa, is a great way to elevate an outdoor wedding. Plus, it made a great spot for photographs afterward.

Bringing in Special Traditions

And the final thing I wanted to mention here is how lovely it was to participate with this little family in their special wedding traditions. First, Tiffany, Rustin, and their daughter each poured their jar of sand into one vase as a final act for their wedding ceremony. The vase, with all the different sands, symbolizes three separate lives becoming one life through this marriage! And of course, we had to finish with a traditional champagne toast.

What an absolutely beautiful wedding and I’m certainly grateful to have been a Florida Keys wedding photographer for this lovely family! Everything about it—from this stunning location, down to their Florida Keys wedding décor—celebrated their true love for each other. When will you say “I do?” Schedule your session here.
